USRVPN / Troubleshooting Notes
Subscription & Connection Help
Find answers by where the issue occurs: your account, client, route, or order. Check the status first, then adjust your settings.
Select a question to expand the answer. For account- or order-specific help, sign in to the user panel and submit a support ticket. Hide passwords and subscription details before sharing screenshots.
Account & subscriptions
From login details and subscription updates to switching devices, first confirm which account configuration you're using.
What do I need to create an account, and how should I store my login details?
No email address is required; create an account with a username and password. Create your account in the user panel and save your login details in a trusted password manager. Before switching browsers or devices, make sure you can still access them. Since account creation does not require an email address, don't assume email recovery is available. If you can't sign in, check capitalization, keyboard input, and browser autofill before trying passwords repeatedly. For help, describe the account issue through the support ticket link in the user panel. Never send your password, subscription link, or screenshots containing login credentials.
Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I refresh the server list?
Sign in to access your subscription. First, check its status in the user panel, then use the import option provided there or add the subscription details to your client's subscription settings. If you've already imported it but the list hasn't changed, update the existing subscription entry rather than merely refreshing the current server's connection status. After updating, make sure the client is using that configuration, then check the server list. If retrieval fails, check that you can reach the user panel over your local network and confirm your plan status. If you need to retrieve the details again, use the subscription information currently shown in the panel. Your subscription link is an account credential; don't post it in public forums.
Do I need to buy again when I switch devices? How do I use USRVPN on different platforms?
There is no limit on the number of devices that can be online at the same time, so switching devices alone doesn't mean you need to buy again. USRVPN supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Sign in to the same account on your new device, follow the steps for that platform to get the client and subscription, then confirm the imported configuration is selected. You can download the client from this site after signing in on any platform except iOS; iOS access is handled through the user panel. Devices can connect separately, but they still use the data allowance for your account's plan. Unlimited devices doesn't mean unlimited data. Before handing off or retiring an old device, remove the subscription details from its client so your account credentials aren't left on it.
Your plan is active in the user panel, but the client shows an old status. What should you check?
First, confirm the user panel and client are using the same account, especially if you've imported another subscription or saved multiple configurations before. Check the order and plan status in the panel, then update the existing subscription in the client and select the refreshed configuration. Cached plan details in the client may not update at the same time as the actual connection, so old text alone doesn't mean the service has stopped working. If the update fails, keep the error message and note the platform, network, and steps you took, then contact support through a ticket. Don't delete every configuration before you know the cause, and don't place another order just to refresh the status.
Connections & troubleshooting
Test your local network, client mode, and target app separately. Change one variable at a time.
The client says it's connected, but websites won't load. How can I troubleshoot this step by step?
A connected status usually means the client has enabled a connection configuration; it doesn't confirm that a particular website is reachable. Disconnect and check that your local network works normally, then reconnect and try different websites. If only one site fails, check the site's status, regional requirements, and your current routing rules. If no sites work, check that your subscription is up to date, a server is selected, and the client has the network permissions it needs. Temporarily quit other proxy or network-routing tools while troubleshooting. Change one setting at a time and note the results before and after, so you can identify the cause without multiple apps changing your network path at once.
Why does my browser work, but a particular app won't use the proxy?
Apps handle network traffic differently, so a website working in your browser doesn't mean every app uses the same proxy route. Check whether the client has enabled the system proxy and whether its current rules are sending the app's traffic directly. Some apps keep the network settings they read at launch, so fully quit and reopen them after changing the configuration. If the client offers a mode that routes system traffic, read its permission details before enabling it as needed. Don't run multiple traffic-routing tools at the same time. If the issue persists, note the app name, client mode, and reproducible error, then describe them in a support ticket. Don't share the app's login credentials.
What should I do if the connection drops after sleep, a network change, or while running in the background?
Device sleep and network changes can interrupt an existing connection, and bringing an app back to the foreground may not resume an active task automatically. Confirm the new network is working, reconnect in the client, and reopen the affected page or app. On Android, check whether battery optimization or background activity settings are restricting the client. On desktop devices, confirm the network has recovered after sleep. Grant only the permissions the client needs to work; there's no need to disable all system protections. If the connection always drops after the same action, note what triggered it and any system message. That is more useful for troubleshooting than simply saying it disconnects often.
Still having trouble after troubleshooting? What information should I include in a support ticket?
Sign in to the user panel and open the support ticket section. First, say whether the issue affects all websites, a particular app, or one server. Include your device platform, client name, connection mode, network environment, and the steps you've already tried. Keep error messages in their original wording. Before attaching screenshots or logs, hide passwords, subscription links, access tokens, and unrelated personal information. For a payment issue, include the order details shown in the panel; for a connection issue, provide the server name and steps to reproduce it. Keep follow-up details in the same ticket so important information isn't scattered across unrelated reports.
Speeds & routes
Route types explain how traffic is routed; actual performance also depends on your local network and destination service.
Which regions does USRVPN cover, and what should I consider when choosing a server?
USRVPN covers 100+ countries / 250+ routes. Before choosing a server, check whether the service you're accessing has regional requirements, then consider how well your local network reaches the server's exit region. A nearby location can be a useful starting point, but distance isn't the only factor: routing between networks, the destination website, and your local connection all affect performance. Keep the destination and client mode constant while comparing routes suited to your needs, rather than changing several variables at once. The locations page lists regions and route types; verify access on your own device and network. Coverage does not guarantee access to every destination service.
What's the difference between IEPL, relay, and direct routes?
These terms describe different ways network paths are arranged. IEPL refers to a dedicated link, a relay route passes through an intermediate hop, and a direct route connects to the exit without that intermediate relay. The route name can't predict your experience or guarantee a particular speed across all networks and times. When choosing a route, consider both its type and destination region, then compare how consistently the same task loads pages, plays video, or responds in an app. If a route type performs poorly on your network, note your current settings before trying another path. Claims such as bank-grade encryption are security messaging, not evidence that a particular route will be faster.
What should I try first if speeds drop during peak hours or videos keep buffering?
First, check whether your local network is also downloading, syncing files, or running other bandwidth-heavy tasks. See whether ordinary websites are slow when you're not using a proxy. Once your local connection looks normal, keep the destination content the same and try another route in the same region, then compare other regions or route types if needed. For video, distinguish persistent buffering from an error reported by the platform: buffering may point to the network path, while an error may relate to regional or account rules. Don't judge route quality from a single speed test. Note when the issue occurs, the route name, and what you observed to determine whether it's ongoing or specific to the current route and task.
Will switching servers always fix a regional availability message from an AI tool or streaming service?
Not necessarily. Platforms may consider your exit region, account details, previous sign-in environment, and their own rules when determining availability. A working network connection can still encounter regional or account restrictions. Check the service's supported regions and error details, confirm your current exit region meets its requirements, and make sure the client is routing the app through the selected server. If you test another route, finish the current task first; avoid frequent exit changes during sign-in or long-lived sessions. USRVPN provides network connectivity but doesn't determine eligibility for third-party platforms or guarantee that every platform will accept a particular exit. Follow the destination platform's current rules.
Billing & refunds
Check data usage and orders against your plan terms. If you have questions about a payment, check the original order before submitting a support ticket.
How much do monthly plans cost, and when does data reset?
Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the start of the calendar month for everyone. To choose a tier, review your actual usage in the user panel and consider your browsing, video, and file-transfer needs. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days. Before changing plans, check the order details and plan status shown in the panel rather than calculating the amount due by subtracting full monthly prices. Check plan prices and data allowances on the plans page, then confirm your selected tier in the order shown in the panel before paying.
What's the difference between a data package and a monthly plan, and how should I choose?
Data packages: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. Data is available until used and never expires. The difference from a monthly plan is how data is consumed: monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date, while a data package draws down from its remaining balance. If you use the service intermittently or your usage varies, compare data packages first. For ongoing use, review monthly plan tiers against your actual usage. Unlimited devices doesn't mean every plan includes unlimited data, and don't assume different data balances are automatically combined or deducted in a particular order. Check the user panel for details about switching plans and your current account status.
Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my plan doesn't appear after payment?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Before paying, check the plan, amount, and payment method on the order in the user panel, then follow the instructions on the order page. If your plan status hasn't changed after payment, return to the original order to check its status and make sure you're signed in to the account that placed it. Don't pay again just because the page hasn't refreshed, and closing your browser doesn't cancel an order. If the payment record and panel status don't match, submit a support ticket with the relevant order details, payment status, and any necessary proof. Hide unrelated personal information in screenshots. Order completion is determined by the panel record and follow-up verification; this page doesn't promise a processing or arrival time.
What is the refund policy, and how do I request a refund?
USRVPN offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the support ticket section, clearly state that you'd like a refund, and include the relevant order details so the payment can be verified. Before submitting, review the refund terms in the Terms of Service to understand the scope and process. If you're also having connection issues, you can describe them, but troubleshooting isn't a required step before requesting a refund. Check for replies in the original ticket and provide any information needed for verification. Don't share your account password or subscription link, and don't assume a processing or arrival time; these depend on verification and the actual processing status.
